Spring Festival

2026 – Classical Period Music

The Spring Festival is offered yearly in order to stimulate young local musicians to expand their repertoire and to strive toward excellence through an annual non-competitive event. This event is open to all Connecticut teachers; however, if you are not a member of MTNA, Connecticut State Music Teachers Association, or if you became a member after Sept. 30, 2025, there is an additional $10 registration fee per student.

Four-Year Rotation: Spring Festival presents a four-year rotation through major periods of Western classical music: Baroque Period, Classical Period, Romantic and Impressionist Period, Modern and Contemporary Period. Spring Festival features solo division as well as duet division.

ERA: 2026 will feature repertoire from the Classical Period

DATE: Saturday, March 21, 2026. Registration forms must be postmarked by February 1, 2026.

LOCATION: South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main Street, Manchester, CT

REGISTRATIONS DUE: February 1, 2026 (postmarked)
