This Hartford Chapter event is open to pre-college students of any CSMTA members. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your students to be creative and learn music theory in a personally meaningful way.
Who: Pre-college students of any age, level, or instrument may submit their own original compositions in this non-competitive event.
Music: Compositions may be either handwritten by the student or printed on computer by the student. Please choose whichever method provides the best learning experience. All submissions must be neat, legible, vertically oriented, on 8 ½” x 11” paper, and with 1” margins on all sides. Pieces will be published in our Opus 31 booklet.
