Hartford Chapter – Connecticut State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA) is dedicated to the advancement of musical knowledge and education through high standards of music teaching and performance, communication between private music teachers and the community, goodwill and friendship among professional musicians and teachers, and continuing education for members and programs for their students. CSMTA is affiliated with Music Teachers National Association.
The other Connecticut Chapters are Fairfield County, Middlesex/New London, and New Haven.
